Most styles use lab-created or natural gemstones, depending on the design and the stone. Pearl, opal, garnet, and turquoise pieces typically use natural stones; harder-to-source gems like alexandrite or tanzanite are usually lab-grown for color consistency. How do you pick which birthstone for a month with multiple options?
Some months have a primary stone and one or two modern alternates (June, October, November, December). On those product pages you’ll see the stone choices listed — pick whichever color and meaning suits her best.
