Ring Size Calculator

Measure once, order once. Convert any finger measurement into your US, UK, EU and Japanese ring size — with the full ring size chart below.

Wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimetres — that is your circumference.

How to measure your ring size at home

There are two reliable ways to measure ring size without a jeweller:

Method 1 — measure your finger

Cut a strip of paper about 5mm wide. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger, mark where the end overlaps, then lay it flat and measure to the mark in millimetres. That length is your finger circumference — enter it above.

Method 2 — measure a ring you already own

Take a ring that fits the right finger and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge. That is the inside diameter. Enter it above and switch the measurement type to diameter.

Tips for getting ring size right

  • Measure at the end of the day. Fingers swell, and they are largest in the evening.
  • Avoid measuring when cold. Cold fingers can read a full size small.
  • Wide bands run tight. If the band is 6mm or wider, go up a quarter to a half size.
  • Check the knuckle. The ring has to pass over it — measure the knuckle too and use the larger of the two.
  • Measure three times. Take the most common result, not the first one.

Necklace length guide

Where each chain length sits on an average adult:

LengthWhere it sits
14" / 36cmChoker — snug at the base of the neck
16" / 41cmAt the collarbone. The most common women's length.
18" / 46cmJust below the collarbone — the safest gift length.
20" / 51cmA few inches below the collarbone
22" / 56cmAt or just above the neckline
24" / 61cmBelow the neckline, over a top

Buying as a gift and unsure? 18 inches suits almost everyone and works over most necklines.
