Care Instructions

Every piece is handmade, and with a little care it will keep its finish for years.

Everyday wear

Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, hairspray, moisturiser and make-up. These are the most common cause of dulling and tarnish.

Water

Take it off before showering, swimming or using a hot tub. Chlorine, salt water and prolonged soaking will damage the plating over time and can cloud the gem.

Cleaning

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Do not use silver dip, abrasive polishes, toothpaste or ultrasonic cleaners — these strip plating and can scratch the gem. If the gem needs cleaning, use a dry lens cloth and light pressure only.

Storage

Store it dry and away from direct sunlight, ideally in the pouch or box it arrived in, and separately from other jewellery so nothing scratches the gem.

Your photo

The image inside the gem is permanent and will not fade with wear. It cannot be changed or re-uploaded once the piece is made, so do check your photo carefully before ordering.
